New District Website

If you saw the old website that website is no more!

The main things we looked for in the website was more mobile friendly which we have achieved and we also have a way for to know what is happening in the district with our new news system that will have Updates, Blogs, News and any other forms on news that will come out.

As most of the district is now moving over to more digital content and less physical paper work. Through the future more systems in the district will be coming out which is this website, which helps people get content that is put out to the public and an easy way to get information no matter what it is. 

In the district we are pushing alot more technology based things which will help the young people be involved in scouting and also with the current circumstances it will help young people and leaders to be involved in the programmes that have been made.

Places to look at on here:

• News Room - All news realated items will be on here and anything that happens in the district.
• Media Centre - All media items will be put on here which will be templates, photos/vidoes, etc.
• What We Do - If you want to find out what each section in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Young Leaders and Leaders that is all on there. Also we have our Inclusion section which we have people in the district that will be on hand for all Groups and Units.
• Groups/Units - This is the place where you can find your nearest group or unit for young people or leaders to get involved if you don't want to get involved in a certain group or unit, the district team is always looking for new people to appoint (+18).
